Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)

Optigy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our team on a full-time locum tenens basis. This opportunity is focused on providing high-quality, relationship-centered care for Medicare Advantage seniors, as part of a value-based care model. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a key role in delivering patient-focused healthcare, utilizing innovative technologies and working within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to prevention, wellness, and the reduction of hospitalizations.

This full-time locum tenens position is located in the vibrant Greater Denver Area, a region known for its scenic beauty, dynamic community, and excellent quality of life. Working in this area offers healthcare professionals the chance to make a meaningful impact on a diverse senior population while enjoying all the amenities the region has to offer.

As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to a manageable panel of seniors, focusing on quality rather than quantity. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about geriatric medicine and value-based care, and who thrive in environments that prioritize relationship-building, prevention, and holistic wellness. The position includes comprehensive support, including travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage, ensuring you can focus on delivering the best possible care to your patients.

Optigy’s proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) system is specifically designed to optimize senior care, streamlining documentation and improving care coordination. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including nurses, social workers, and care coordinators, to ensure each patient receives a comprehensive, individualized care plan. The care team model supports your ability to focus on each patient’s unique needs, fostering strong provider-patient relationships and better health outcomes.

This locum tenens assignment requires a minimum commitment of three months, with significant potential for long-term or permanent placement based on performance and fit. Physicians with experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or value-based care models are highly encouraged to apply.
