Optigy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our team on a full-time locum tenens basis. As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to a manageable panel of seniors, focusing on quality rather than quantity. Optigy’s proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) system is specifically designed to optimize senior care, streamlining documentation and improving care coordination. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including nurses, social workers, and care coordinators, to ensure each patient receives a comprehensive, individualized care plan. The care team model supports your ability to focus on each patient’s unique needs, fostering strong provider-patient relationships and better health outcomes.
This locum tenens assignment requires a minimum commitment of three months, with significant potential for long-term or permanent placement based on performance and fit. Physicians with experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or value-based care models are highly encouraged to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to a panel of Medicare Advantage seniors, focusing on prevention and wellness
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, manage chronic conditions, and coordinate care with specialists as needed
- Utilize proprietary EMR optimized for senior care to document patient encounters efficiently
- Participate in a multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Focus on reducing hospitalizations and improving patient outcomes through proactive management
- Engage in relationship-building with patients and their families to foster trust and adherence to care plans
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $153/hr

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Active Colorado state medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience with geriatrics, Medicare Advantage, or value-based care models strongly preferred
- Proficiency in EMR systems and electronic documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to a minimum of three months in a locum tenens role
