Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary
- Serve as a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) delivering outpatient care to a senior population with complex chronic conditions.
- Practice within a physician-led, value-based care organization in New Orleans, LA.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, coordinated primary care to a panel of approximately 450 patients, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic illnesses.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and manage chronic diseases across the patient population.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including medical assistants, schedulers, and referral specialists, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Utilize value-based care principles to drive improved health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in in-house consultations with specialists such as cardiologists and podiatrists to enhance patient care.
- Incorporate holistic health services, including nutrition, acupuncture, Tai Chi, and yoga, as part of a comprehensive patient wellness strategy.
- Attend to approximately 18-20 patients per day within a standard Monday to Friday clinic schedule (7:30 am – 5:00 pm), with the last patient scheduled at 4:15 pm.

- Competitive base salary, with total potential compensation exceeding $320,000 in the first year, including incentives and signing bonuses.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Residency training in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to providing high-quality primary care to a senior population with complex medical needs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
