Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to a panel of senior patients, averaging 12–18 patients per day with extended appointment times
- Utilize a value-based approach to care, prioritizing disease prevention and management to reduce emergency room visits and inpatient admissions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for coordinated, patient-centered care
- Document patient encounters using a proprietary EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and meetings as required by the organization
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines
- Foster strong, respectful relationships with patients and their families, focusing on education and shared decision-making

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine strongly preferred
- Active Texas medical license or willingness to obtain one prior to start
- Experience in geriatric care, Medicare Advantage, or value-based care models preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Excellent clinical documentation and communication skills
