Primary Care Physician (MD, DO) - Summary
As a Primary Care Physician (MD, DO), you will join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering comprehensive and continuing care to patients. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of both acute and chronic medical conditions. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Participate in the practice call schedule as assigned to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Maintain board certification and all required certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Submit patient charges promptly in accordance with organizational protocols.
- Support and embody the mission, vision, and values of the organization in all professional activities.
- Serve as a community ambassador, fostering positive relationships and representing the organization in the community.
- Comply with all human resource policies, including those related to professional behavior and ethical standards.
- Participate actively in practice meetings, organizational events, and quality improvement initiatives in a collaborative and supportive manner.

- Participate in peer review programs and supervise colleagues when necessary to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO degree required).
- Completion of an accredited residency in a relevant specialty.
- Successful licensing through the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the relevant state.
- Specialty board certification, or ability to obtain such certification within one year of hire.
