Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Erie, PA – Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our innovative network of neighborhood primary care centers in Erie, PA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, value-based healthcare to Medicare patient populations. Our care model is grounded in value-based health principles, rewarding providers for outcomes rather than service volume. As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO), you will benefit from a collaborative environment, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team that includes scribes, medical assistants, and social workers. You will have access to onsite laboratory services with a dedicated phlebotomist, as well as RubiconMD for streamlined specialist consultations.
Enjoy a balanced patient volume, with the ability to spend adequate time with each patient—averaging 13-16 patients per day, and 20- to 40-minute appointments tailored to visit type. The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, supporting work-life balance and continuity of care for our valued patients.
Our centers are equipped to foster community engagement and wellness, providing not only quality medical care but also patient activities such as exercise classes, yoga, dance, and spa days. We offer transportation options for patients within five miles of the clinic, ensuring barrier-free access to care.
Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) candidates will use advanced EMR systems (Canopy and Greenway) and work with an average of 3-5 providers per clinic, including nurse practitioners and other physicians. - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, non-probationary, unrestricted state medical license
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred but not required
