Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Woonsocket, RI – Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our innovative network of neighborhood primary care centers in Woonsocket, RI. As a core member of our care team, you will provide comprehensive, value-based healthcare to Medicare patient populations, focusing on quality outcomes and preventive medicine. As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) in Woonsocket, RI, you will work alongside an experienced team—including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers—ensuring that each patient receives personalized, coordinated care. Our clinics are outfitted with onsite labs, a dedicated phlebotomist, and access to a wide range of specialists through RubiconMD, streamlining diagnostics and follow-up care. Physicians in our organization typically see 13-16 patients daily, allowing time for both 20-minute standard visits and 40-minute comprehensive assessments for new or complex cases.
Our EMR platforms, including Canopy and Greenway, support efficient clinical documentation and care coordination. You’ll join a collegial team of 3-5 providers per clinic, which may include both Nurse Practitioners and Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO). This collaborative approach ensures that each provider can contribute meaningfully to patient care, professional development, and practice growth.

Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary- Provide comprehensive, value-based primary care to Medicare populations
- Work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team
- Focus on preventive medicine and improved patient outcomes
- Utilize advanced EMR systems for efficient care documentation
- Promote community health through innovative patient-centered programs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, regular check-ups, and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and preventive care plans
- Collaborate with scribes, medical assistants, and social workers for holistic patient support
- Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as needed via RubiconMD
- Participate in community health activities and educational events
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate medical records using Canopy and Greenway EMR
- Deliver value-based care to achieve quality metrics and positive health outcomes
- Competitive base salary ($220,000–$250,000) with additional incentive bonuses based on quality metrics

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted, non-probationary state medical license
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred, but not required
- Not accepting residents for this position
