Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to Medicare patient populations in Spartanburg, SC.
- Focus on value-based healthcare, preventive medicine, and patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals in a modern, well-equipped clinic.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule with manageable patient volume and extended visit times.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough primary care evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments to adult and geriatric patients.
- Conduct regular patient visits, spending 20 minutes on standard appointments and 40 minutes on new or complex cases.
- Collaborate with care team members, including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers, to optimize patient experience and outcomes.
- Utilize on-site lab facilities and electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Canopy and Greenway for efficient patient management.
- Engage in value-based care delivery, aiming to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions and promote preventive health strategies.
- Participate in community health activities and patient wellness events hosted at the clinic’s community room.
- Coordinate with other providers (including NPs and physicians) for comprehensive patient management.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards in all clinical activities.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive base salary of $220,000-$250,000, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) program.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted, and non-probationary state medical license.
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is preferred but not required.
- Not accepting residents for this position.
