Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric Medicare patients
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop care plans, and manage chronic and acute conditions
- Work collaboratively with a care team, including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers
- Utilize on-site laboratory and diagnostic resources to support patient care
- Participate in value-based care initiatives and drive improved patient outcomes
- Complete documentation using EMR systems efficiently and in compliance with clinical best practices
- Engage patients in preventive health activities, education, and wellness events
- Participate in quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
- Follow organizational protocols and policies to ensure high standards of care

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted, and non-probationary state medical license
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred, but not required
- Experience managing adult and geriatric patient populations
- No residents; practicing physicians only

- Average daily patient volume: 13-16, allowing for thorough and unrushed visits
- Appointment structure: 20-minute regular visits and 40-minute new patient or full diagnostic visits
- Patient transportation available within a 5-mile radius of the clinic
- Community room available for patient activities including wellness events and fitness classes
- Average of 3-5 providers per clinic, including Nurse Practitioners and Physicians
