Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary
- Deliver value-based primary care to Medicare patient populations in a modern clinical setting.
- Work collaboratively with a large care team including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers.
- Focus on providing quality outcomes, preventive medicine, and a superior patient experience.
- Utilize onsite laboratories and access to specialist consultations via RubiconMD.
- Engage with patients through wellness and community activities to promote overall health.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive primary care visits for Medicare patients, averaging 13-16 patients per day.
- Perform regular visits (20 minutes) and thorough diagnostic or new patient visits (40 minutes).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Canopy and Greenway for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives aimed at reducing hospital admissions and improving patient outcomes.
- Engage patients in preventive health activities, including exercise, wellness events, and health education conducted in the community room.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical protocols to maintain a safe and high-quality care environment.
- Support transportation initiatives for patients within five miles of the clinic to improve access to care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted, and non-probationary state medical license.
- No current residency status; open to experienced physicians only.
- Fellowship training in geriatrics is preferred but not required.
