We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our innovative medical team. Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO) are supported by large, multidisciplinary care teams including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers. This collaborative approach enables you to focus on your core responsibility: delivering exceptional patient care to the local Medicare population in Albuquerque, NM.
As a valued member of our provider team, you will benefit from advanced on-site resources, including in-house laboratory services with a dedicated phlebotomist and access to tele-consultations with specialists through RubiconMD. The electronic medical record (EMR) systems in use are Canopy and Greenway, facilitating efficient and effective patient documentation and management. Clinics typically staff three to five providers, offering a collaborative and collegial work atmosphere. Additionally, you will be able to participate in community-based activities and wellness events, further enhancing the patient experience and fostering connections with the Albuquerque, NM community.
The Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) role features a manageable patient volume, averaging 13-16 patients per day. Appointments are scheduled for 20 minutes for regular visits and 40 minutes for comprehensive diagnostic or new patient appointments. This schedule allows for thoughtful, thorough patient care and a focus on preventive medicine. You will be integral to driving the success of our value-based care model, which rewards quality outcomes, reduces hospital admissions, and ensures an unmatched patient experience.

- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred but not required
- Must not be a current resident
