As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) at Optigy, you will have the chance to practice medicine with autonomy while leveraging robust care coordination support and a proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) system designed to enhance workflow and improve patient care. The clinic maintains a manageable patient volume, typically seeing 18 to 21 patients per day, allowing you to dedicate more time and attention to each individual's needs. This role is ideal for physicians who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults, and who value a collaborative, team-based approach to healthcare.
Locum assignments are available for durations ranging from three to six months, with the possibility of ongoing engagement. Physicians will receive comprehensive support, including paid travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage. This position is open to candidates who are board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and who hold or are eligible for a Virginia medical license. Experience with Medicare Advantage or value-based care models is highly preferred, as the clinic is committed to delivering the highest standard of patient-centered healthcare.

- Competitive hourly rate of $150 per hour (annualized equivalent: $312,000)

- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Virginia medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
