Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary- Deliver comprehensive primary care to a senior patient population in a value-based care clinic setting.
- Work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team in Virginia Beach, VA.
- Flexible locum tenens assignment with options for full-time or part-time engagement.
- Utilize advanced EMR and benefit from strong care coordination support.
- Provide direct patient care for adults, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute medical issues.
- Manage a panel of seniors, typically seeing 18-21 patients per day to ensure thorough, individualized care.
- Participate in a value-based care delivery model, emphasizing quality over volume.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and care coordinators to develop, implement, and monitor patient-centered care plans.
- Utilize proprietary EMR systems designed for efficient provider workflow and precise documentation.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable medical laws, standards, and regulations.
- Commit to an initial 3-6 month assignment, with potential for extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
- Competitive hourly compensation of $150/hr (annual equivalent of $312,000).
