As a Primary Care Physician, you will be part of a collaborative care team, focused on delivering patient-centered outcomes and preventative care, rather than a high volume of services. As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO), you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team—including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers—to ensure patients receive comprehensive, value-based healthcare. The model emphasizes reduced hospital admissions, improved patient experiences, and the promotion of preventive medicine. With on-site labs, access to specialist consults through RubiconMD, and advanced EMR systems, you will have the tools and resources needed to deliver exceptional care.
This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, and a manageable patient volume to foster meaningful provider-patient relationships. The clinic environment offers robust support, community engagement activities, and patient transportation services, all designed to enhance patient well-being and improve access to care in Columbus, OH.
Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary
- Deliver value-based, patient-centered care for Medicare populations
- Work collaboratively with a large care team including scribes, MAs, and social workers
- Utilize on-site laboratory services and advanced EMR systems
- Contribute to a model focused on quality outcomes and preventive medicine
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide primary healthcare services to an assigned panel of Medicare patients
- Conduct regular and comprehensive visits (20-40 minutes per patient based on visit type)
- Maintain a patient volume of approximately 13-16 visits daily
- Collaborate with care team members, including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers, to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize EMR systems (Canopy and Greenway) for accurate and effective documentation of patient care
- Participate in and support community activities for patients, such as exercise classes, wellness events, and educational workshops
- Use on-site laboratory and specialist consult resources to enhance diagnostic and treatment capabilities
- Adhere to and promote best practices for value-based healthcare delivery
- Support the reduction of unnecessary hospital admissions by focusing on preventive medicine and patient education

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted, and non-probationary state medical license
- No current residents; position not open to those in residency
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is preferred but not required
