Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide complete primary care services to a diverse patient population
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments according to current guidelines
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Document all patient interactions using eClinicalWorks EMR system
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in primary care and family medicine

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Experience with outpatient primary care preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
