As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO), you will see a manageable patient volume, allowing for thorough and considerate visits. Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary- Deliver value-based, patient-centered primary care to local Medicare populations
- Work within an innovative, collaborative, and supportive team environment
- Focus on quality of care and patient outcomes
- Full-time role based in Baton Rouge, LA
- Provide comprehensive primary care for a dedicated patient panel
- Conduct thorough patient visits (20 minutes for regular, 40 minutes for new/diagnostic)
- Collaborate with a care team including scribes, Medical Assistants, and social workers
- Utilize on-site laboratory and specialist consultation services
- Document patient interactions using Canopy and Greenway EMR systems
- Participate in preventive care initiatives and community wellness activities
- Contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient satisfaction
- Manage a patient volume of 13-16 per day
- Engage in multidisciplinary care team meetings
- Competitive base salary ($220,000–$250,000+ based on experience)

- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree required
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license (state-specific)
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred but not required
