Optigy is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens, full-time, onsite position in the Greater Denver Area, Colorado. This opportunity is ideal for those passionate about delivering high-quality, senior-focused, value-based care in an outpatient setting. As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) with Optigy, you will play a pivotal role in an innovative practice model that emphasizes patient outcomes, prevention, and holistic care, rather than volume.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to a panel of senior patients, typically seeing 12–18 patients per day to ensure longer, more meaningful visits.
- Work collaboratively within an integrated care team to develop, implement, and monitor patient-centered care plans.
- Utilize proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient encounters and coordinate care efficiently.
- Focus on preventative health, chronic disease management, and outcome-driven care consistent with value-based healthcare models.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to continuously improve patient outcomes and uphold the practice’s mission of delivering exceptional care.
- Maintain high standards for patient safety, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support the practice’s commitment to relationship-driven care and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (MD/DO).
- Active Colorado medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in value-based care and working with senior populations is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and care teams.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
Assignment Details
- This locum tenens position is a full-time, onsite engagement with an initial 3-month assignment, offering the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs.
- Malpractice insurance, as well as travel and lodging expenses, are fully covered by the employer.
