The Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) role involves managing an exclusively senior, Medicare Advantage panel. The practice environment is tailored to allow longer, more meaningful patient visits, typically ranging from 12 to 18 patients per day. The clinical approach emphasizes proactive health management, promoting better outcomes through preventive care and education, thereby reducing hospitalizations and emergency care utilization.
