Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a respected outpatient practice in Arcadia, FL. This full-time, permanent position is ideally suited for a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. As a member of a collaborative healthcare team, the Primary Care Physician will play a vital role in promoting wellness, managing chronic illnesses, and improving patient outcomes within the local community. Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary care services to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate ongoing care for both acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
- Utilize the eClinicalWorks electronic medical record (EMR) system to accurately document patient encounters, orders, and care plans.
- Maintain a manageable patient volume, seeing approximately 12–15 patients per day, allowing for personalized and thorough care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in clinical care.
- Allocate scheduled time for administrative tasks to support patient care and practice operations.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current with advances in primary care and regulatory requirements.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida, or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care in an outpatient environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Experience with electronic medical records, preferably eClinicalWorks, is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Full-time, permanent position located in Arcadia, FL.
- Outpatient-only practice with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
