Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Fort Myers, FL – Full-TimeWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our innovative healthcare team in Fort Myers, FL. Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting, focusing on seniors with complex medical needs, including heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions.
- Work within a value-based care model with an emphasis on patient satisfaction, adherence to evidence-based practices, and reduction of hospitalizations.
- Manage a panel of up to 650 patients, averaging 10-12 patient visits per day, ensuring personalized attention and ongoing care coordination.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team, including a medical assistant, scheduler, referral specialist, and receive full support from clinic leadership.
- Participate in a call schedule that is shared among providers in the market, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
- Engage in daily clinic operations, which run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Contribute to the clinic's community wellness initiatives, such as facilitating or supporting health-promoting activities for seniors at no additional cost to patients.
- Uphold the organization’s values and commitment to respectful, patient-centered care.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) is required.
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
- Current DEA registration.
- Proficiency in common office-based procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
