Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time role in Memphis, TN. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to a panel of up to 450 patients, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Maintain a patient-centered approach, seeing an average of 18 patients per day.
- Collaborate with a dedicated support team, including a Medical Assistant, Scheduler, and Referral Specialist, to ensure efficient care coordination.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Utilize administrative time included within your schedule to complete clinical documentation and patient follow-up tasks.
- Engage in partnership opportunities, with many providers achieving partner status within 12-18 months.
- Adhere to clinic hours from Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no required nights or weekends.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in areas such as cardiology and podiatry, and refer patients for holistic health services as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) required.
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse senior population.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to team-based care.
