Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Margate, FL – Full-time About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our physician-led, mission-driven organization in Margate, FL. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, value-based outpatient care, primarily serving a senior patient population. This full-time opportunity is ideal for clinicians passionate about transforming healthcare for patients with complex needs and chronic conditions, while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a panel of up to 450 patients, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic diseases.
- Deliver patient-centered, value-based care in an outpatient clinical setting.
- See an average of 18 patients per day, with dedicated administrative time included in your schedule.
- Work closely with an integrated care team, including a Medical Assistant, Scheduler, and Referral Specialist.
- Coordinate care with in-house consulting specialists such as Cardiology and Podiatry, as well as holistic health providers offering services like Acupuncture, Tai Chi, Yoga, and Nutrition counseling.
- Utilize a Monday through Friday schedule, with clinic hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last patient scheduled at 4:15 p.m.), ensuring no nights or weekend shifts are required.
- Contribute to a supportive environment that values work-life balance and patient-focused outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and partnership opportunities within the organization.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a residency in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse senior patient population.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient advocacy skills.
