Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Miami, FL. This role is within a physician-led, mission-driven primary care organization that is committed to transforming healthcare for seniors. The organization focuses on providing affordable, VIP-level care to patients, especially those with complex health needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to a panel of up to 450 patients, primarily seniors managing multiple chronic conditions.
- Deliver high-quality, value-based care, focusing on improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Conduct patient visits averaging 18 appointments per day within a Monday through Friday schedule. Clinic hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last patient scheduled at 4:15 p.m.
- Utilize dedicated administrative time built into your schedule for charting and care coordination.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including your own medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist, to deliver holistic and coordinated care.
- Work exclusively in an outpatient setting—no nights or weekends required.
- Engage in ongoing communication and partnership with in-house consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other disciplines as needed.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
