Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a mission-driven, physician-led primary care organization in Miami, FL. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled clinician passionate about providing comprehensive, value-based care to a senior patient population. Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care in an outpatient clinic setting with a focus on senior care.
- Manage a small patient panel (maximum 450 patients) to ensure personalized and thorough care.
- Provide medical care for seniors, primarily managing patients with 3-5 chronic diseases.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives to improve patient health outcomes and satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated care team, including a Medical Assistant, Scheduler, and Referral Specialist assigned to support your clinical and administrative needs.
- Maintain a Monday through Friday schedule, with clinic hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (last patient scheduled at 4:15 PM), allowing for work-life balance with no nights or weekends required.
- Allocate administrative time within your schedule to complete charting and other non-clinical responsibilities.
- Engage with in-house consulting specialists, including Cardiology and Podiatry, and participate in holistic health initiatives such as acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition programs offered by the clinic.
- Ensure patient access and continuity of care, including coordination of transportation services for patients as needed.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to seniors.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care.
This is a full-time position based in Miami, FL, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule with manageable patient volumes and no overnight or weekend shifts.
