Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Miami, FL. This role is with a physician-led, mission-driven primary care organization focused on providing high-quality healthcare to a senior patient population. Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to a panel of senior patients, typically managing 18 patients per day.
- Deliver value-based, outpatient care with an emphasis on managing 3-5 chronic conditions per patient.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated care team, including a medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist, to ensure seamless patient experience.
- Utilize in-house consulting specialists such as cardiology and podiatry for coordinated patient care.
- Participate in holistic health services offered at the clinic, including acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling as part of patient care plans.
- Maintain an organized schedule with administrative time built in to support work/life balance.
- No night or weekend shifts; clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with the last patient scheduled at 4:15 PM.
- Ensure all clinical care complies with current guidelines and organizational protocols.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-centered care to a senior population.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
