Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a senior patient population with multiple chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension
- Deliver patient-centric care in an outpatient clinic setting, focusing on wellness and preventive health
- Maintain a manageable patient panel size (maximum 650 patients) to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Average 10-12 patient visits per day, allowing for meaningful patient interactions
- Collaborate with an integrated care team including medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, and leadership
- Utilize value-based care principles to achieve outstanding patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes
- Participate in call schedules as determined by the number of physicians in the market
- Perform in-office procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care as part of standard care

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) (required)
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus, but not required
- Unrestricted, active medical license and current DEA registration
- Proficiency in standard office procedures, including suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care
