Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Full-Time

Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a senior patient panel with complex medical needs (e.g., heart disease, diabetes, hypertension)
- Maintain a manageable patient load, averaging 10-12 patients per day, with a maximum panel size of 650
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team including a medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist
- Utilize evidence-based practices and a value-based care approach to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Participate in a rotating call schedule based on the number of providers in the market
- Support patient engagement through activities and wellness programs offered by the center
- Perform office procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care as needed
- Ensure patient documentation is thorough, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Current, unrestricted, active medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Proficiency in office-based procedures (suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, wound care)
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
