Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to a senior patient population, focusing on individuals with multiple chronic conditions.
- Manage a small patient panel (maximum of 450 patients) to ensure personalized and attentive care.
- Conduct an average of 18 patient visits per day in a 100% outpatient setting, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team, including a medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care with in-house consulting specialists such as cardiology and podiatry, and refer patients as appropriate.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives and quality improvement activities to enhance patient experiences and results.
- Utilize holistic health services offered by the clinic, including acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling, to support patient wellness.
- Incorporate administrative time into your schedule to maintain accurate documentation and communication.
- Support the mission of honoring seniors through affordable, VIP-level care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Strong commitment to value-based care and improving patient outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and patient engagement.
