Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Margate, FL (Full-time) Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our mission-driven organization in Margate, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care services to a panel of senior patients in an outpatient clinic setting in Margate, FL.
- Manage a patient panel of up to 450 individuals, focusing on seniors with 3-5 chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
- Deliver care with a value-based approach, emphasizing preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary care team including your own medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists, such as cardiology and podiatry, and facilitate referrals as needed.
- Incorporate holistic health services—including acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutritional counseling—into patient care plans where appropriate.
- Conduct patient visits during clinic hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 5:00pm, with no nights or weekend shifts required.
- Ensure thorough documentation and administrative tasks are completed during built-in administrative time.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the highest ethical standards in patient care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care and strong communication skills.
- Experience with value-based care models is preferred but not required.
