Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Miami, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and senior patients, focusing on those with multiple chronic conditions.
- Manage a small patient panel of up to 450 patients, allowing for personalized and attentive care.
- See an average of 18 patients per day within clinic hours, ensuring quality time with each individual.
- Practice 100% outpatient medicine—no nights or weekends required.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated care team, including a medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize value-based care models to achieve better health results for patients while maintaining efficient and effective workflows.
- Participate in administrative activities during scheduled time, supporting both clinical and operational excellence.
- Refer and coordinate care with in-house consulting specialists such as cardiology and podiatry as needed.
- Engage with holistic health services offered by the clinic, including acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition support for comprehensive patient wellness.
- Ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
