Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Miami, FL. As a vital member of a physician-led and mission-driven primary care organization, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, value-based healthcare to the senior population. Our organization is committed to providing affordable, comprehensive care with a focus on improving health outcomes for seniors, particularly those with complex and chronic health needs. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a panel of up to 450 senior patients, focusing on those with multiple chronic conditions.
- Conduct patient visits, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care, averaging 18 patients per day.
- Work Monday through Friday, following clinic hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last patient scheduled at 4:15 p.m.
- Deliver 100% outpatient care, with no nights or weekends required, supporting a healthy work/life balance.
- Utilize a dedicated care team that includes a medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist to enhance patient care and administrative efficiency.
- Embrace a value-based care model, focusing on preventive medicine and long-term wellness for the patient population.
- Participate in administrative activities and dedicated time for charting and care coordination built into your schedule.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists, including cardiology and podiatry, and refer patients as needed for holistic health services such as acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling.
- Ensure care is in alignment with the company’s mission to honor seniors with affordable, VIP healthcare that achieves better health outcomes.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Strong commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care for the senior population.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to the principles of value-based care and a patient-centered approach.
