Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in New Orleans, LA. As a key member of our physician-led and mission-driven primary care organization, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive outpatient care to a senior patient population. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a small panel of up to 450 patients, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Conduct patient consultations and routine follow-ups, averaging 18 patients per day.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated care team including a Medical Assistant, Scheduler, and Referral Specialist to deliver coordinated care.
- Practice 100% outpatient medicine in a modern clinical setting, ensuring no nights or weekend shifts are required.
- Utilize value-based care principles to drive improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and support organizational mission and vision.
- Administrative time is built into your schedule to allow for thorough and effective patient management.
- Refer patients to in-house consulting specialists such as Cardiology and Podiatry as needed.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency training in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care, preferably with experience in value-based care models.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule and Location
This Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) position is full-time, with a Monday through Friday schedule (7:30 am – 5:00 pm; last patient scheduled at 4:15 pm).
