Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, value-based primary care to a small panel of adult and senior patients, primarily those managing multiple chronic conditions.
- Conduct patient consultations, preventative screenings, and manage ongoing treatment plans within a 100% outpatient setting.
- Work within a Monday through Friday clinic schedule, with no nights or weekends required, ensuring work/life balance and administrative time included in your day.
- Manage a maximum panel size of 450 patients, averaging approximately 18 patient visits per day to maximize personalized care.
- Coordinate patient care with a dedicated support team, including a Medical Assistant, Scheduler, and Referral Specialist, to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Utilize in-house consulting specialists, such as cardiology and podiatry, and support holistic health services including acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling as needed.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives and quality improvement programs to drive superior patient outcomes.
- Ensure all care delivery meets current clinical guidelines and complies with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a senior patient population.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
