Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Clearwater, FL. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to a panel of up to 450 senior patients, focusing on those with 3-5 chronic conditions.
- Practice 100% outpatient medicine in a supportive clinical environment with no nights or weekends required.
- Manage an average of 18 patients per day to ensure quality of care and a work/life balance.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team, including a dedicated Medical Assistant, Scheduler, and Referral Specialist assigned to support your practice.
- Utilize a value-based care model to improve patient outcomes and promote holistic health and well-being.
- Engage in administrative duties with dedicated time included in your daily schedule.
- Refer patients to in-house consulting specialists such as cardiology and podiatry as needed.
- Encourage patient participation in holistic health services, including acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse senior population.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
