Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care to a diverse patient population
- Perform routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and chronic disease management
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients about health maintenance
- Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare staff as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practice guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty
- Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current DEA registration
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
