Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-established private practice located two hours from Dallas, Texas. This is a full-time, 100% outpatient opportunity that allows the physician to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services in an outpatient setting, including diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and health education.
- Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to practice protocols and standards of care.
- Engage in patient and family education regarding disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage minimal phone call responsibilities with no inpatient or hospital call duties required.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing inclusive, patient-focused care to a diverse population.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
