Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) team in California. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a provider who is passionate about delivering comprehensive outpatient care and is committed to serving diverse and underserved patient populations. Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services in an outpatient office setting.
- Manage a daily patient volume of 16-18 individuals, ensuring thorough assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Utilize the Athena electronic medical record (EMR) system for all patient documentation and care coordination.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated and holistic care.
- Participate in a minimal call rotation, including occasional weekends, with light call activity.
- Allocate administrative time as part of the regular Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., work schedule.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and practice efficiency.
- Support the mission and values of the FQHC by providing care to all community members, including the underserved.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in a primary care specialty is required.
- Active California medical license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Valid California DEA registration.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Dedication to serving diverse and underserved populations and contributing to the center’s community-focused culture.
- Competitive base salary range of $260,000 to $280,000, commensurate with experience.
- Performance-based bonuses related to shared savings and net collections.
- Sign-on bonus of $30,000 with hospital membership and a 3-year commitment.
- Relocation assistance up to $10,000.
