Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Summary- Contract, full-time Nurse Practitioner role in a primary care setting
- Provide direct patient care for an average of 18 patients per day
- Collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals and support staff
- Assignment designed to support care continuity during a team member's leave
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with state regulations and practice guidelines
- Educate patients and family members on health promotion, disease prevention, and medication management
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare team members as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Follow established best practices to ensure patient safety, privacy, and satisfaction
- 1099 contract rate (competitive compensation)

- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of assignment
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) preferred
- Ability to work full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., for contract duration
- Excellent clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions
- Experience in primary care, family practice, or internal medicine settings is highly desirable
- Proven experience in a primary care setting as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
