Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our outpatient team in South Miami, Florida. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to adult patients. This full-time position is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about building long-term relationships with their patients and providing continuity of care throughout their medical journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients, ages 18 and older.
- Manage an average patient load of approximately 20 patients per day, dedicating 15-20 minutes to each patient encounter.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize the E-Clinical Works EMR system to maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule, with office hours from 8am to 12pm. Physicians receive a differential hourly rate for Saturday coverage.
- Participate in a shared call schedule, with one week of call coverage required annually.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and multilingual support staff, to provide personalized and culturally competent care.
- Promote preventive health measures and patient education to support long-term wellness.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed physician in a clinical outpatient setting.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) preferred; candidates with FL-ACN license will be considered.
- Bilingual proficiency required, with a focus on serving Spanish-speaking patients.
