The Power Systems Integration Specialist is an essential technical role responsible for the implementation, configuration, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of advanced power monitoring systems, with a focus on Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME) solutions. This position is pivotal in supporting reliable and accurate power data acquisition for customers, ensuring seamless integration across power distribution systems. The role includes hands-on work with associated metering hardware, communications infrastructure, and server-based software, as well as troubleshooting and system optimization to deliver actionable insights for energy management and efficiency improvements.
As a Power Systems Integration Specialist, you will configure and validate meters and communication networks, including protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, RS-485, and Ethernet. The position also involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and commissioning power meters and related equipment in environments ranging from low to high voltage. A strong ability to interpret electrical one-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation is required to ensure all system components function cohesively.
In addition to working with PME systems, the Power Systems Integration Specialist will support integration with advanced analytics platforms like Stark Optelligent. This includes validating data streams from building management systems (BMS) and power monitoring solutions, assisting in analytics deployment, mapping and tagging data, and collaborating with controls teams. You will help optimize building performance through diagnostics, actionable recommendations, and continuous commissioning. Success in this position requires both field independence and effective teamwork with engineering, programming, and service departments to meet customer objectives and uphold service excellence standards.

Power Systems Integration Specialist - Summary
- Responsible for implementing, configuring, commissioning, and maintaining Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME) systems and related hardware/software.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission power meters and metering hardware in diverse electrical environments.
- Set up and validate communications networks using Modbus TCP/IP, RS-485, Ethernet, and related protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues for PME and integrated systems.
- Conduct hands-on inspection and testing of equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interpret and work from electrical one-line diagrams, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Support integration and validation of data streams with analytics and BMS platforms.
- Assist with deployment of analytics solutions, data mapping, tagging, and actionable insights delivery.
- Work independently in field settings and engage collaboratively with engineering, programming, and service teams.
- Document technical findings, write customer-facing reports, and provide ongoing client support.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field; equivalent military or technical training accepted.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, Controls Technician, or Integration Specialist with electrical, electro-mechanical, or electronic systems is preferred.
- Competence in using diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, AC clamp meters, and load banks.
- Working knowledge of switchgear and power distribution systems.
- Experience configuring communication networks and industrial protocols, with emphasis on Modbus RTU/TCP.
- Ability to write technical reports, procedures, and clear customer documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile field technologies (iPads, smartphones, laptops).

- Familiarity with building automation systems (BMS) and integration of power data into analytics platforms preferred.
