In this role, the Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for monitoring the health status of both the mother and the newborn, providing patient education, and ensuring a safe transition from hospital to home. Strong clinical competency in neonatal support and fetal monitoring is required, as well as the ability to respond effectively to any complications that may arise during the postpartum period. The position emphasizes a collaborative approach, working closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate for the Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) role will have a strong foundation in postpartum and mother/baby care, with experience handling complex clinical scenarios, including the care of COVID-19 positive patients.
