Pool Service Technician Job DescriptionSuper's Pool Service is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Pool Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair services to residential and commercial pools. This role offers the opportunity to work independently outdoors while developing valuable skills in a specialized trade. The position is based in Sanger, TX, offering the benefit of working in a growing community known for its friendly atmosphere and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive pool cleaning, including vacuuming, brushing, netting debris, and emptying skimmer and pump baskets.
- Test and balance water chemistry to ensure safe and sanitary pool conditions for clients.
- Inspect pool equipment and systems, identifying issues and reporting any concerns or required repairs to both the client and office team.
- Carry out minor repairs as needed to maintain proper pool functionality.
- Assist with basic truck and equipment maintenance to ensure service vehicles and tools are operational and clean.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company shop and workspaces.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, addressing questions and providing updates on pool status and service performed.
- Accurately complete service records and relay information to the main office as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to consistently meet weekly service goals.
- Physical capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take advantage of paid training opportunities.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- This is a full-time, year-round W-2 position, offering stable employment and consistent hours (Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week).
