Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Full-time role supporting a leading plastic surgery team
- Blend of surgical first assist, clinical evaluation, and patient management duties

- Assist plastic surgery physician in the operating room as first assist
- Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical examinations
- Provide both pre-operative and post-operative care in surgical settings
- Evaluate follow-up patients in the clinic and during daily hospital rounds
- Write orders, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Initiate emergency resuscitation and stabilization as needed
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, radiological studies, and specialty consultations
- Participate in specialty-related committees, research, and quality improvement initiatives
- Formulate and implement treatment and therapeutic plans
- Perform clinical procedures as demonstrated by competency
- Prescribe controlled and non-controlled substances for patients (DEA required for controlled substances)
- Take part in paid call rotation as scheduled
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000

- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of two years of experience in plastic surgery or as a surgical first assist
- Experience in operating room and clinic settings preferred
- DEA registration required for prescribing controlled substances
- Eligibility for relevant state licensure
- Demonstrates strong clinical and procedural competencies in plastic surgery
- Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented approach
