Planview Portfolio Administrator (PPA) - Summary
- Serve as the primary administrator, subject matter expert, and advisor for the Planview Portfolio platform.
- Lead system configuration, enhancements, and governance to support business and IT objectives.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to development teams and stakeholders.
- Support enterprise portfolio management through best practices and strategic system guidance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the lead administrator for Planview Portfolio, ensuring optimal system performance and adherence to best practices.
- Manage all critical system changes, upgrades, and platform enhancements in line with organizational needs.
- Provide strategic advice, coaching, and mentoring to developers and team members working with Planview solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leaders to align Planview configuration with company goals.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document system issues and processes to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Drive governance, reporting, and the adoption of best practices across portfolio, program, and project management domains.
- Oversee integration and data flow between Planview and other enterprise technology systems.
- Lead user training sessions, drive user adoption, and support change management efforts to maximize platform value.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of direct administration and configuration experience with Planview Portfolio (including Portfolio & Resource Management, Capacity Planning, Timesheets, and Reporting).
- Proven expertise as a Planview Portfolio Administrator (PPA) and subject matter expert, with demonstrated leadership in system management.
- Strong ability to advise, coach, and direct developers and stakeholders in Planview best practices.
- Experience managing system governance, reporting, and technology integrations.

- Strong independent problem-solving abilities and a track record of leadership in systems administration roles.
