Physician Recruiter – Summary
The Physician Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for physician and provider positions within the healthcare sector. This includes sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and supporting offer negotiations. The role demands both strategic insight and operational execution, as well as the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders. The Physician Recruiter will also proactively build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates, ensuring the organization can respond rapidly to staffing needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for physician and provider roles, from initial intake through to successful placement and onboarding.
- Source candidates proactively using advanced networking techniques, outreach initiatives, and referrals to build strong pipelines of physician and provider talent.
- Screen candidates thoroughly to ensure alignment with organizational values, role requirements, and clinical expertise.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, facilitate communications between candidates and hiring teams, and ensure a seamless and professional interview process.
- Partner strategically with hiring managers and senior leadership to provide market insights, advise on team structure, and align on hiring goals.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through regular communication, transparency, and responsiveness at every stage of the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of recruitment activities in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and candidates to promote ongoing engagement and referral networks.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in physician or provider recruiting, demonstrating successful full-cycle recruitment capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with a track record of effective partnership with senior leaders and hiring managers.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and follow-through abilities, ensuring timely and effective recruitment processes.
- Ability to balance strategic workforce planning with operational execution, including completion of administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and screening high-caliber physician and provider talent within the healthcare industry.
