Physician (MD, DO) - Summary
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered medical care in alignment with organizational values and mission.
- Actively participate in organizational initiatives and community outreach as a representative of the healthcare provider.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, ethics, and collaboration with colleagues and staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in the practice call schedule as required to ensure patient coverage and support for the medical team.
- Maintain board certification and all required certifications, including BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- Accurately and promptly maintain patient medical records within the electronic health record system.
- Submit patient charges in line with organizational procedures in a timely fashion.
- Support and embody the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization in all professional activities.
- Serve as a community ambassador for the organization, fostering positive relationships and promoting healthcare initiatives.
- Abide by all human resource and organizational policies, ensuring professional behavior at all times.
- Participate in practice and organizational meetings and events, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Provide constructive guidance and feedback to colleagues and the organization to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in the peer review program to support quality assurance and professional development.
- Supervise colleagues as needed, fostering mentorship and skill development within the clinical team.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO degree required).
- Completion of an accredited medical residency program.
- Licensure through the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts.
- Specialty board certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Previous practice experience of three or more years preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
