As a Physician Assistant – Vascular Surgery (PA-C), your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive care to vascular surgery patients. You will assess patient conditions, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary care teams. The role includes time spent in both the operating room (OR) and clinic, making it a dynamic and intellectually stimulating opportunity for an experienced PA-C seeking to further refine their vascular surgery expertise.
This contract role features a recurring monthly schedule. The Physician Assistant – Vascular Surgery (PA-C) will work 10 consecutive days per month, with 24-hour call responsibilities during two weekends, from Friday 7am through Monday 7am. Additional duties include one day per month in the clinic, assisting in the OR for one to two days, and possibly one weekday on call. Patient census in the clinic averages approximately eight individuals per day, ensuring manageable caseloads and the ability to provide thorough, attentive care. Candidates with current BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and those holding an active Montana license will be given preference.
