Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical and social history reviews for both male and female patients.
- Perform comprehensive medical screenings and physical exams, including reproductive health assessments for all genders.
- Interpret laboratory results and order additional diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up on laboratory and diagnostic findings.
- Provide contraceptive counseling and prescribe oral and topical contraceptive methods, including emergency contraception when indicated.
- Manage and treat a variety of internal medicine conditions, including sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and genitourinary disorders for both male and female clients.
- Deliver wellness and weight management services tailored to individual patient needs.
- Offer prenatal care and support throughout all stages of pregnancy as well as perimenopausal and menopausal care services.
- Serve as a medical consultant for clinic staff, providing guidance and expertise in current medical procedures and protocols.
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations within the clinic setting.
- Participate in clinic staff meetings and contribute to the management and continuous improvement of clinical operations.
- Provide ongoing staff education and training relevant to internal medicine and general healthcare delivery.
- Participate in after-hours coverage and perform additional duties as assigned to support overall clinic function.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current state license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- DEA license for prescribing medications.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) registration.
- Successful completion of a formal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program at an accredited institution.
- 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience in internal medicine or a related field preferred.
- English language proficiency required; Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
- Ability and willingness to learn new clinical skills and adapt to evolving healthcare practices.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
