Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary
- Full-time, outpatient-focused position in a well-established health center
- Directly responsible for the care of patients of all ages under the supervision of a Medical Director

Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and manage a patient panel through direct care and follow-up
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations
- Order, perform, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across the lifespan
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide preventive care and participate in health education and promotion initiatives
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare services as needed
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state law and clinic protocols
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives, including HIPAA adherence
- Serve as a mentor and resource to clinical staff and nursing personnel
- Demonstrate flexibility by accepting additional duties and cross-coverage as needed
- Support organizational goals by engaging in continuous learning and professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license (PA-C)
- Eligibility for or possession of state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant
- Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Willingness to maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing education
