Atlantic Adult and Pediatric Medicine is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a professional with at least one year of experience, preferably in a primary care setting. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, physician-led care to a diverse patient population, including adults, pediatrics, and a significant number of geriatric patients. Our practice is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care that leads to outstanding patient outcomes, and we are looking for a PA who shares this commitment.
As a valued member of our clinical team, the Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients. The work schedule consists of four days per week, Monday through Friday, with clinicians seeing approximately 15 to 23 patients per day. This structure supports a manageable patient load and fosters an environment where thorough, patient-centered care is prioritized. Additionally, clinicians participate in a rotating call schedule covering evenings and weekends, but there are no hospital rounds required as this is an outpatient-only position.

Physician Assistant (PA) - Summary- Full-time position within a respected adult and pediatric medicine practice
- Focused on primary care, including a large geriatric patient population
- Outpatient only; no hospital rounds required
- Schedule of four days per week, Monday through Friday
- Supportive, physician-led team environment
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain accurate medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor patient treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing therapies
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate care
- Participate in rotating call schedule for evenings and weekends (no hospital rounds)
