Physician Assistant (PA) - Summary
- Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories
- Performs clinical procedures and interprets diagnostic tests as authorized

Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and document patient medical histories and symptoms
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging
- Develop and implement patient management plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments under physician supervision
- Provide counseling on disease prevention, health maintenance, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Assist in minor surgical procedures and wound care as appropriate
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers, specialists, and support staff for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
- Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to exercise sound medical judgment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
